Hey y’all! Welcome to today’s blog post. If you’re here from Instagram, I want to say thank you and welcome to Miss Rock City’s guide to the top 10 bars in Little Rock, Arkansas.

First, I want to say there are so many great bars outside of this list, but this top 10 includes the bars I find myself going back to again, and again, and again! If you’re one of my OG followers, then you know I’m a cocktail queen. Second, I hope you get the chance to visit all of these places at least once. The Little Rock bar scene is so fun and I love it because it is full of variety and character. For COVID-19 protocol and guidelines, check out their Instagram or website. Anyway, have fun and drink local… responsibly!

1. Ciao Baci

At #1, Ciao Baci is my all-time favorite spot in town to grab a drink and I especially love introducing my out-of-towners to this! Since 2001, this cozy little home-y bar has been elevating the standard of good food, fine wine, and classic cocktails in the Hillcrest Historic District of Little Rock.

2. Flyway Brewing

Flyway is our favorite, go-to neighborhood brewery and I am the first in line for every one of their new brews or food items! During Covid-19, they opened “Tent City” welcoming patrons to join each other for beer, food, and fun but at a safe distance. Visit them in the Argenta Arts District of North Little Rock. Nothing beats a fresh Bluewing on tap!

3. Agasi 7: Rooftop Bar and Kitchen

Little Rock’s premier rooftop bar offers a unique view of downtown that you won’t get anywhere else. The view alone is worth a visit to this cocktail bar and kitchen. This Little Rock bar is temporarily closed due to Covid-19, but when they open back up, do check them out!

4. Cannibal & Craft

Cannibal & Craft is a classic cocktail and tiki bar serving you amazing cocktails made with house-made syrups and fresh-squeezed juice! Watch out – the fishbowls are dangerous. This lounge and nightclub located in the Little Rock River Market is your perfect escape from reality. Due to Covid-19, they are at limited capacity.

5. The Rail Yard

Searching for food trucks? Look no further than the Rail Yard located in East Village, Little Rock. With the food and drink options always changing, no trip is ever the same. You will definitely find one the best atmospheres of any Little Rock outdoor bar at the Rail Yard for sure!

6. Fassler Hall

Fassler Hall is downtown Little Rock’s true German-inspired beer garden. They also have locations in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The outdoor patio provides plenty of room for fun and giant beer pong. Don’t forget to try the schnitzel or one of the LITER beers at this Little Rock bar and restaurant! The best… LITERally.

7. Rock Town Distillery

Arkansas’s first legal distillery since Prohibition. Every cocktail is made with their award-winning spirits so you know you’re getting a fine cocktail. Seriously, check out their barrel room and ask about their tours & tastings. They also have cocktail classes which you can learn about here!

8. Lost Forty Brewing

Another great microbrewery option located in East Village, Little Rock. You’ve got to try them for brunch sometime and get the cinnamon roll. Trust!

9. Proof Bar and Lounge

Personally, I think Proof is one of the most underrated bars located in Hillcrest Historic District of Little Rock. It provides just what you need in time for an evening of drinking with your friends. Always gotta stop here for that nightcap.

10. Dugan’s Pub

This modern Irish Pub is the best excuse to drink like the Irish do! It is a personal tradition to join them every year at their St. Patrick’s Day block party! Head over to Dugan’s for some upgraded pub fare and all the beer and whiskey you can dream of.

That is it for my top 10 bars of Little Rock, Arkansas but you know I have to include some honorable mentions.

  • One Eleven at the Capital Hotel
  • Hillcrest Hill Station in Hillcrest of Little Rock
  • The Fold: Botanas and Bar located in Riverdale of Little Rock
  • Big Orange in Midtown or Chenal of Little Rock
  • Creegan’s Irish Pub in Argenta of North Little Rock
