Hey everyone & happy FRIDAY!! Did anybody else go out for National Margarita Day last night? My boyfriend and I made our way over to a local Tex-Mex restaurant here in Little Rock called The Fold! The wait was about 30-45 minutes but I was just so hungry that moving elsewhere wasn’t an option. Good thing they had a well-stocked bar and a lively atmosphere that made us want to stay. I was sort of intrigued by a special marg they had listed for the “holiday” called the Jalepeño Margarita.

“Is it spicy?” I asked the bartender.
“Oh yeah,” he replied like I was dumb*ss.

I took the first sip and HE WAS NOT WRONG! I love spicy things! It was delicious. My boyfriend, Matt, absolutely hated it so he stuck with the “classic” marg. Loserrrrr. For the entire wait, we sipped on our drinks and stood savoring our own conversation while the winter Olympics played above our heads.

The weather has been so nasty this week in Central Arkansas. Schools have been closed for the past two days due to flooding and everyone at work says traffic is a nightmare in the mornings. Unfortunately, this might jeopardize some weekend plans I’ve been looking forward to. But who’s up for just relaxing and sleeping all day tomorrow?! That never gets old!
